As soon as that happened, the Devil King sighed and said, “Order the army to stop and call the Demon King.” Hearing this order, the soldier immediately answered, and then went to carry out the order.

After that, the Devil King looked up at the distant sky and muttered, “Is it really him? But this is simply impossible!

Soon, the Demon King entered the carriage and, after bowing to the old man, said, “Your Majesty, you called me.”

The supreme ruler nodded and said, “Zhao has sent a message. He wants to talk to me. I have already ordered the army to be stopped. So you have to look after the soldiers, and I will meet with Zhao.”

When the Demon King heard this, he couldn’t help but sigh, and then he said, “Your Majesty, please think twice, Zhao is not only strong, but also very cunning. This could all be a trap.”

Zhao watched calmly as the huge carriage approached him. After a while, she stopped right in front of him, and then the door opened and the Devil King stepped out. When he looked at Zhao and then at the sword at his feet, a light flashed in the old man’s eyes, “I heard that Mr. Zhao wants to talk to me, but I don’t know what it is.”

Zhao smiled and replied, “Oh, believe me, I do have some news that you will definitely want to hear.”

The old man looked at Zhao, and then suddenly smiled and said, “Okay, please come in and tell about it?” Thus, he intended to check whether the head of the Buda clan had the courage to commit such an irrational act.

Zhao raised his glass and replied, “Thank you.” After that, they drank wine together. However, when the head of Buda put his glass back on the table, the Devil King suddenly laughed and said, “Mr. Zhao, I really admire you, you not only entered my carriage, but also drank wine with me.”

Zhao smiled slightly and replied, “Your Majesty, in a situation like this, you would not try to poison me, since it is clearly not beneficial for you now.”

The old man looked at Zhao and said, “Oh, aren’t you overconfident?”

The head of the Buda clan nodded and replied, “I think you understand very well that now the Arc Continent is completely dependent on me. And if I die, this world will also fall.”

Zhao looked at the old man and said, “After I pushed back the Gods and also dealt a very tangible blow to the Demon army, the situation changed dramatically. It all happened in Ice Hell. To be honest, I was the least worried about this place. There, because of the incredibly low temperature, it is almost impossible to survive. And therefore, neither you nor the Gods would use this terrible place as even a temporary camp. It can be said that the Ice Hell was the safest place in the Arc Continent.”

The old man nodded and he believed what Zhao said. But what did happen in the Ice Hell? The information collected by the Demons contained data about this place. Moreover, they sent several warriors there, hoping to find the beastmen spear themselves, but they never succeeded.

Zhao looked at the Devil King and said, “After learning of what had happened, I immediately went to the Frozen Hell. But when he arrived at the place, he saw that it was covered with black fog, in which a huge number of undead were hiding. However, being a Black Magician, I easily caught several immortals and subdued them. Only after that I finally managed to find out what was going on. After these words, the head of the Buda clan paused and continued, “All the undead and the black fog came from the Underworld!”

As soon as the old man heard those words, his face couldn’t help but change. And then he furiously raised his head and looked at Zhao. He, in turn, slightly nodded: “Yes, you heard everything absolutely correctly. A dimensional crack suddenly appeared in the Ice Hell, leading to the Underworld.”

After saying that, the old man got up and began to walk around the room, but after a while he turned to look at Zhao, “But how did the Underworld manage to open it? Did someone help them with this?

Zhao chuckled bitterly, “No, there was no help. The conditions of Ice Hell are too harsh. In addition, the entrance to it was guarded by the three most powerful tribes of beastmen. So no one could deliver to the Ice Hell everything that is needed to create a spatial crack. It seems to me that the gods are to blame for all this. Before they invaded the Arc Continent, they changed the laws of heaven and earth. Of course, this could not but affect the integrity of the outer shell of this world, so the crack leading to the Underworld appeared.

After these words, the old man turned very pale. He sat down at the table again, and then, pouring himself a glass, drank the wine instantly, after which he muttered: “I thought this was a great opportunity for my people, but, unfortunately, now it seems to me that all this can lead to our death.”

Zhao looked at the Devil King and asked, “Are you sure that I didn’t lie to you?”

Hearing this, the old man smiled and said, “With your strength, there is simply no point in lying about such a thing. Plus, it’s all pretty easy to check, right?”

Zhao laughed and said, “I think you are absolutely right, Your Majesty. I really don’t need to deceive you. If you like, you can send your scouts to the Frozen Hell for one thing and make sure the Arc Continent is completely empty.”

The old man, in turn, looked at Zhao for a long time, but then said: “It seems that you really sent all the inhabitants of the Arc Continent somewhere. Because otherwise they wouldn’t be so calm.”
